Job Description

Reporting to the Venue Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Assist guests with all queries.
  2. Act according to complaint handling standards & procedures.
  3. Report for duty as per the rota, keep work area clean and tidy, wear the correct uniform and name badge, and ensure attendance record is signed at the beginning and end of each shift.
  4. Provide excellent guest service by discovering all guest needs and acting on them promptly, effectively, and confidently.
  5. Work across all areas of Food & Beverage Department to ensure guest expectations are exceeded and standards are maintained.
  6. Be fully conversant with all F&B department policies and procedures.
  7. When fully competent, work with the Manager and Lead Servers to provide effective on-the-job training and coaching to develop a highly skilled and motivated team, committed to hotel and departmental goals.
  8. Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  9. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way.
  10. Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
  11. Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions.
  12. Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  13. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
  14. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
