Job Title: Sales Director

The Sales Director is responsible for an assigned territory and/or portfolio of customer accounts, with high potential for development and/or significant existing NAVBLUE product and service footprint. This role manages all commercial activities, including new sales, account growth via up-selling and cross-selling, and contract renewals. The Sales Director leads and contributes to prospecting, qualifying, account planning, consultative selling, contract negotiation, and handover to delivery, following NAVBLUE standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales revenue and renewal targets within the designated territory and/or customer portfolio, meeting or exceeding personal and business objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer flight operations, tools, systems, and priorities.
  • Maintain expertise on NAVBLUE and partner products to identify up-sell opportunities and address customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Establish and execute strategic account development plans for key accounts, coordinating with Airbus global teams as appropriate.
  • Create new opportunities based on market potential and customer requirements.
  • Increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling of products and services.
  • Manage contract negotiations to optimize profitability and strengthen business relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to grow NAVBLUE's solutions in the assigned territory.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing effectively.
  • Utilize NAVBLUE’s CRM tools to maximize sales efficiency and results.
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences as required.
  • Collaborate with marketing and portfolio teams on specifications and priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve commercial issues such as invoicing and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in complex sales or marketing roles.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge of airline flight operations and aviation IT/software.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, excellent communication, and listening skills.
  • Project management and strategic account planning capabilities.
  • Results-oriented with a drive to succeed.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70% domestically and internationally).
  • Independent, confident, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Effective team player with high energy and integrity.
