Experience:

Graduate

7-10 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting or program management.

Experience in an international company working with several entities is a plus.

Technical Skills

Business acumen : Ideally knowledge of procurement activities and insurance sector.

Fluent in English (speaking and writing).

French fluency is a plus.

Group Procurement's mission is to increase group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end procurement cycle of external spend (excluding insurance procurement), while building a high-performance, sustainable, and risk-managed supplier base. With 350 professionals across 20 entities, procurement manages a complex ecosystem of vendors and significant spend (general expenses and IT procurement).

Group Procurement's role is to :

  • Leverage purchasing power and drive procurement discipline to boost savings generation
  • Provide category & sourcing strategy design, push group contracts, and leverage our purchasing power through different levels of AXA scale
  • Drive procurement discipline within AXA by engaging the procurement community: sharing best practices, defining and sharing KPIs, designing processes to enhance efficiency, etc.
  • Provide group software asset management offerings

Manage the relationship with key vendors

  • Engage key vendors to leverage AXA strategy and growth: define vendor strategies, build appropriate vendor governance, and implement performance KPIs, building relationships to drive key vendors towards our expectations.

Provide expertise through a center of excellence to drive performance & responsible procurement.

  • Provide a group procurement M&A offer of services to support AXA in acquisitions, divestitures, and internal transfers.
  • Push for sustainable procurement practices, focusing on reducing our carbon footprint with strategic suppliers and increasing diversity and solidarity sourcing.
  • Define and share vendor risk frameworks and outsourcing policies.
  • Drive procurement tools/data strategy and core model implementations.
  • Provide appropriate performance monitoring KPIs and processes.

The Group Procurement Program Manager reports to the Group Procurement Strategy & M&A Manager, overseeing strategic programs and M&A activities (supporting AXA in acquisitions, divestitures, and internal transfers).

The primary mission is to lead strategic projects in collaboration with the Group CPO and her management team, defining initiatives to deliver. The role involves working closely with 12 main entities to align interests, promote scale, and drive collaborative initiatives and mindset.

Responsibilities include monitoring the procurement project portfolio, ensuring governance, and working with the Head of Procurement Performance and Group Category leaders.

In particular, responsibilities include:

  • Participate in defining and leading procurement strategy objectives and transformation initiatives.
  • Deliver and track strategic transformation initiatives (operating model review, performance programs, GEN AI initiatives, etc.).
  • Develop, prioritize, and monitor the multi-year procurement project portfolio, securing validation and funding.
  • Handle high-level presentations for management and stakeholders on strategy and transformation.
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry procurement trends, and coordinate across functions.
