MediTech Access is looking for a Senior Consultant / Projekt Lead (m/f) Market Access

Under the responsibility of the General Manager and President:

  • Driving the global market access strategy (pricing, reimbursement and other hurddles) for a range of Health technologies / medical devices, from PoC (Proof of Concept) and throughout the product lifecycle
  • Systematizing, planning and executing market access strategies for clients
  • Support the General Manager with the management of the Market Access team (5 people + 1-2 trainees)
  • Representing the Pricing and Market Access Unit in the project teams

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the country General Manager to define the strategy
  • Engage as much as possible with local payers and local health authorities and attend negotiations as needed
  • Provide regular update on all P&R advances/news/regulations in the European countries
  • Support strategic access planning for P&R dossier
  • Plan and execute local evidence generation
  • Ensure and manage national stakeholders mapping
  • Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
  • Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines.

Profil

  • Doctor of medicine/pharmacy/science/pharmaco-economics or other adequate education/training
  • Display excellent business English skills
  • Senior position: minimum three to five years' experience in market access, health economics and reimbursement in the pharmaceutical industry, an HTA organization or as a consultant
  • Preferably, prior experience in achieving positive HTA outcomes and/or experience in direct negotiation with local health authorities, reimbursement agencies, hospital administrators and health care insurance companies
  • An international culture is a must
  • Thorough understanding of the payors/HTA environment and changes throughout the regions/countries as well as trends in Pricing & Reimbursement.
  • Ability to work with and lead a multidisciplinary and multicultural team in a matrix environment
  • A high level of autonomy is essential
  • Open minded
  • Have strong influencing/negotiation skills and able to work at peer-level with experienced technical and commercial experts in other departments
  • Strong project management skills and good understanding of processes
  • Excellent analysis skills and ability to identify payer insights and viable strategic options
  • Ability to adopt a global vision, "crystallize" the key issues and make them operative
  • Strong creativity
