The R&D Verification Engineer II joins CASE BU to conduct testing of SaaS applications. This role evaluates how well the product meets customer needs in functionality and usability, ensuring compliance with requirements and quality standards. The role collaborates closely with product teams and communicates with technical specialists regarding product issues.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Specify, write, modify, and update test cases and scripts
  • Perform functional, application, regression, and white-box testing manually and automatically
  • Automate testing activities at application and source code levels
  • Expand test coverage, monitor results, and diagnose failures
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to ensure project success
  • Create test plans, manage defects, and track testing metrics
  • Follow standard techniques and company procedures
  • Work across Windows and Linux environments

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • BS in Engineering, CS, or related field with 2 years experience, or MS with no experience
  • Programming experience in Python
  • Experience with Pytest, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium, Cypress
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and collaborate across teams

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices
  • Experience with automated test frameworks like Junit
  • Basic understanding of Docker and containerization
  • Experience in large-scale software testing environments
  • Basic knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL

Knowledge of debugging test scripts using VS Code or similar tools is a plus.
