Title:
Enterprise Supply Chain Manager

KBR is in search of an Enterprise Supply Chain Manager who will spearhead the development and implementation of project and process plans, instigate robust policies and procedures, and set strategic operational objectives to support multiple sites within our dynamic program framework. This pivotal role demands a self-starter with a fervent drive to achieve technical, schedule, and cost benchmarks while navigating and mitigating potential risks. Collaborating seamlessly with both Program Management and the Supply Chain Organization, you will play a critical role in managing supplier performance and establishing new supplier relationships to bolster our long-term procurement strategies.

This role is located in the Washington, DC Metro Area (WMA) and requires on-site presence supporting various facilities. Travel is estimated to be approximately 10%.

What You'll Do

As a Supply Chain Manager, your duties will encompass:

  1. Leading a team responsible for scrutinizing supply chain material requisites, refining inventory plans, and synchronizing supply chain demands.
  2. Crafting and executing comprehensive project and process blueprints, formulating and enforcing policies, and defining operational milestones.
  3. Securing resources for project execution and processes, managing technical supplier engagements, and pioneering process enhancements.
  4. Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and team members.
  5. Endorsing and supervising technical strategies, products, and procedures while propelling the development and motivation of the team.
  6. Collaborating with Supplier Management to address complex technical and business challenges, ensuring product delivery meets quality and in-service expectations.
  7. Providing strategic direction to achieve financial goals, delivery targets, and product compliance.
  8. Assisting Supplier Management in enhancing procurement and contractual strategies for principal suppliers and programs.
  9. Identifying crucial programmatic integration points across activities, teams, suppliers, partners, and customers.
  10. Managing supplier work scope, contractual commitments, and performance to align with procurement strategies and contractual obligations, while establishing the operational plan.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience managing projects of similar scope, size, and complexity
  3. Knowledge of process improvement models (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, ISO 9000)
  4. Experience leading teams responsible for supply chain requisites, inventory planning, and demand synchronization
  5. Proven ability to craft and execute project and process blueprints, enforce policies, and define milestones
  6. Experience securing resources, managing supplier engagements, and implementing process improvements
  7. Strong relationship-building skills with various stakeholders
  8. Ability to supervise technical strategies, products, and procedures, and motivate teams
  9. Experience collaborating with Supplier Management to solve complex challenges and ensure quality
  10. Strategic planning skills to meet financial, delivery, and compliance goals
  11. Experience in enhancing procurement and contractual strategies
  12. Ability to identify programmatic integration points
  13. Experience managing supplier scope, contractual commitments, and performance
  14. Familiarity with a 24/7 operational environment
