Getting a Flying Start

As a Sales Representative based in Vietnam, you will contribute to leading and developing sales strategies focused on market penetration, increasing market share, optimizing financial performance, and driving operational excellence within your region.

You will manage existing channels and develop new sales channels by expanding our current customer base. Responsibilities include prequalifying utilities and primary end users, and maintaining strong, professional relationships with them.

This role is vital for supporting Nexans' strategic goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering growth and operational performance of agents and distributors in Accessories products to succeed in Nexans markets.

How You Make an Impact
Customer and Market Focus
  • Prepare tailored offers to meet customer needs in collaboration with the Product Manager, including presentation and communication tools. Conduct pre-sales activities such as prequalification, opportunity identification, promoting solutions, and providing technical and commercial support. Define growth KPIs for each customer, maintain and expand current OEM accounts, and open new channels with OEMs to add 2-3 new customers. Conduct market intelligence activities including market sizing, share analysis, competition mapping, and benchmarking.
  • Achieve sales objectives by proposing and executing a sales work plan, prospecting targeted customers, and promoting Nexans' brand and loyalty.
Operational Excellence
  • Present, adjust, and validate offers.
  • Negotiate and formalize contracts daily, respecting pricing policies, local legislation, and contractual frameworks including distributor and agent agreements.
Take Responsibility
  • Participate in major contract negotiations.
  • Support sales activities through relationship management with major accounts, including lobbying, distributor support, and resolving difficulties.
  • Anticipate future strategic contracts through pre-sale activities and engagement with decision makers.
Global Team Player
  • Report to marketing on customer visits, market trends, competition, and innovations. Maintain up-to-date customer files and support product expertise.
  • Coordinate with plants to organize after-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales front office to support their activities.
Your Starting Points When You Join
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • Professional Skills: Pricing, sales techniques, negotiation, strategy, customer relationship, and business development.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Vietnamese; Thai/Khmer skills are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
