Qualifications

• Au moins 6 ans d'expérience en tant qu'avocat opérationnel en financement structuré.
• Expérience dans un département juridique d'une banque d'affaires ou d'un cabinet d'avocats renommé.
• Travail sur le financement structuré d'actifs tangibles.

Responsabilités

• Faciliter les demandes des clients en proposant des solutions et en gérant les risques juridiques.
• Participer à la structuration des opérations, négocier et examiner la documentation juridique.
• Contribuer à la vie de l'équipe 'Assets' en partageant les meilleures pratiques.

Job Description

You join as a lawyer in the «Assets» team of the legal department financing at Natixis. This team is dedicated to structured financing activities in sectors such as transport (aviation), real estate, infrastructure (projects), and energy transition (energy and raw materials). You will advise and support the business lines managing these activities, particularly those based in Paris, London, and Dubai.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Facilitating client requests by proposing solutions and managing legal risks for the bank;
2. Providing pragmatic, high-value advice and communicating it effectively;
3. Participating in structuring operations, negotiating, and reviewing legal documentation (mainly in English law, e.g., confidentiality agreements, credit agreements, risk/cash sub-participations, collateral);
4. Contributing to the life of the «Assets» team by sharing best practices and participating in legal working groups or projects outside transactions.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If you see yourself in the following, you are a good fit with us!

You have a higher education degree and at least 6 years of experience as an operational lawyer in structured finance, preferably within a legal department of a business bank or a renowned law firm. You have worked on structured financing of tangible assets.

You are proficient in:

• French law on obligations and securities;
• French banking and financial law;
• English law financing contracts in LMA format.

You possess excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, strong analytical and synthetic abilities, pragmatism, motivation for novelty, and excellent communication skills in writing and speaking. A C1 level of English is required.
