Job Description

What you will be doing:

1. Handling guest check/billing in Fidelio by cash, ensuring the correct amount is received, with the check/guest folio properly presented.
2. Verifying guest names on checks against display; requesting additional ID if verification is difficult.
3. Informing guests that personal or company cheques are not accepted as payment in F&B outlets.
4. Advising guests to exchange foreign currency at the Front Desk and pay in local currency (UAE Dirhams).
5. Being punctual and well-groomed according to hotel standards.
6. Adhering to all hotel rules, regulations, and disciplinary procedures.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

1. Relevant experience as a Cashier or Waiter handling similar responsibilities is an asset.
2. Diploma or BS degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
3. Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an asset.
4. Excellent problem resolution, communication, and active listening skills.
5. Ability to work flexible hours.
6. Highly responsible, reliable, and professionally presented.
