Job Description:

Our ambitious electrification and software strategies, along with the creation of an innovative ecosystem of strategic, game-changing partnerships, are driving our transformation into a sustainable mobility tech company.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified corporate lawyer under French law to join our team (Purchasing legal team).

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, possibly in the legal department of multinational companies or, alternatively, in international law firms. The candidate should have a strong focus on procurement, supply chain, related contracts, and litigation (experience in consumer law and ICT is a plus).

Responsibilities include:

1. Drafting and negotiating cross-border contracts/transactions with suppliers, handling negotiations related to purchases, with particular emphasis on automotive components/products supply, ensuring intellectual property rights, quality, and safety are protected in contractual relationships.
2. Handling service contracts, dispute settlement, logistics, and transport contracts.
3. Providing legal opinions and advice on contract law, primarily under French laws and EU directives.
4. Managing French litigations with suppliers regarding breach of contract, safety, and quality issues.

Qualifications:

• Qualified French Attorney at Law with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably with knowledge of the automotive industry.
• Fluent in French (mother tongue) and English; knowledge of German and/or Italian is a plus.
• Experience working in an international corporate environment.
