Want to join the world's No. 2 in wines & spirits and work among convivial teams? Pernod Ricard is looking for a Consumer & Shopper Insights apprentice for 1 year starting in September 2025. You will be based at our office in central Paris (Saint Lazare Train Station, Paris 8).

Supported by the CEO, the Global Brands team sets strategic direction for our portfolio and brand activation & positioning. The Global Marketing function designs and monitors group brands portfolio strategy based on robust insights harnessed by the Strategy & Insights Center of Excellence (S&I COE). The S&I COE acts as the Consumer Insight Expert for affiliates in methodology, insights, frameworks, agency rosters, and project management. The Global Consumer Insight Vision aims to lead human-centric decisions that drive strategy and profitable growth, energize business imagination, and anticipate consumer needs in key moments.

Your key missions :
  1. Support analysis related to MAESTRIA 2.0, a global effort for a key strategic priority at Pernod Ricard, anchoring consumer centricity in the group's global portfolio strategy. From a Consumer Insights perspective, this includes:
  • Demand sensing : understanding strategic moments of conviviality in the markets and key drivers of category choice. Support work for Pernod Ricard's various global brands and markets.
  • Understanding the consumer journey and influential touchpoints leading to alcohol consumption in different moments (path to purchase).
  • Support the external communication strategy of the Global Consumer Insights Team, showcasing Pernod Ricard's consumer centricity, including leveraging insights factory platform.
  • Help democratize Consumer & Shopper Insights within the group, potentially including platforms like The Insights Factory, GWI, BevTrac, etc.
  • Prepare strategic presentations for management and other committees at HQ or affiliates.
  • Provide regular project updates to the consumer understanding and demand sensing team.
Ideal candidate profile:
  • Curious about Consumer Insights and consumer-centric strategy.
  • First experience in Consumer Insights, Consulting, Strategy, or Marketing.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills, comfortable with Excel.
  • Tech-savvy, able to adopt forward-looking techniques, including AI, in building digital and technological applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient with PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus but not mandatory (90% of work in English).
  • Studying for a Master’s degree from a Business School.
