As part of our growing sales team, you will be focusing, helping to develop and scale our business on the French market.

Your key objective will be to identify potential customers and lead the sales process in order to build a network of leads, and sign contracts in your territory.

This will include, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities :

  • Business Development : Identify, prospect and acquire new customers in the insurance and actuarial sector. Analyze prospects' needs and position Akur8 solutions to meet their specific challenges.
  • Customer account management : Ensure the follow-up of the customer portfolio, maintain a strong customer relationship and be the main contact for problem resolution or the implementation of new solutions.
  • Complex sales cycles : Manage long and complex sales cycles, from prospecting to contract signature, in collaboration with technical, marketing, legal and IT teams.
  • Growth strategy : Participate in the definition and development of the sales strategy for your market (partnership management, organization of events, complete closing plan).
  • Negotiation and closing : Lead negotiations with high-level contacts and ensure the successful signing of contracts of various sizes (100k to 300k or 1M to 1.2M).

You will be based in our Paris office. Traveling for business development events may be required in the territory.

Requirements

We are looking for a top-performer with 8+ years of experience in complex SaaS and B2B sales. You have a strong aptitude for technology and are eager to grow your knowledge in actuarial science and machine learning. Ideal candidates have a passion for entrepreneurship, and perhaps experience working at a startup.

In order to be considered for this position you must imperatively respond to the following criteria:

  • You have +8 years B2B sales experience, as a Business Development Representative/ Sales Executive - an experience in a tech company or in the insurance space is a plus
  • You are familiar with sales protocols and SaaS company processes, use of CRMs, slack communication, multi-teams interactions. You have good self-management skills, you are efficient and have the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • You have a ‘pioneer’ mindset, and like researching to identify potential customers, possessing the agility and adaptability required to open doors and interact with technical teams
  • You possess the level-head required to project manage both smaller (100k to 300k) and larger (1M to 1.2M) contracts, with excellent presentation skills to navigate short and mid-term sales cycles with C-level
  • You have proven expertise in business development and a track record of mastering sales strategies for complex deep-tech SaaS products. You excel at defining tailored closing plans for each opportunity, with clear, proactive actions to drive success
  • You are able not only to work individually and be autonomous, but also collaboratively (in shared territories)
  • You possess excellent communication skills, whether oral, written, or non-verbal - In French and English.
  • You are proactive, dynamic, curious, eager to learn, and action-oriented. You will need to show motivation toward achieving the sales target and demonstrate a sincere interest in Akur8, both as a company and in the solutions we offer
  • In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
