Description

This role supports the development and delivery of sustainable solutions that address key Nature challenges faced by Quantis clients across various sectors, ensuring that the proposed delivery meets clients’ needs. Your mission will be to keep Quantis at the forefront of your expertise area to maximize the quality and impact of our advice, transforming our clients and continuously improving our offerings.

As a Sustainability Expert at Quantis, you will:

• Be a subject matter expert in Nature for Quantis
• Contribute to multiple client projects, including project management
• Develop credible, trusted relationships with senior client contacts
• Support the sales process on complex opportunities at key accounts

Success in your role if you:

• Master Quantis’ Nature-related offerings
• Deliver error-free, insightful analyses and recommendations in challenging contexts
• Are effective in project management and leading projects within the expert community

• With 8+ years of experience, ideally including consulting and private sector experience
• You have a science-based orientation, curiosity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly
• You can provide subject matter expertise on Nature topics, including biodiversity and water
• You have experience in sustainability topics, with experience in sectors like Food & Beverages, Cosmetics, Fashion, Finance, Pharmaceuticals considered a plus
• You value teamwork and supporting a team
• You can provide technical support, coaching, and review internally and externally
• You are excited to guide companies in developing science-based, transformative strategies
• You hold a Master’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or similar
• You are fluent in French and English
• You have demonstrated coaching, teaching, and mentoring skills in academic or corporate settings

Work overview as a Sustainability Expert:

• Support sales and delivery teams with solutions, client advising, and reviewing project deliverables
• Develop innovative solutions related to Nature with other experts
• Ensure internal consistency and excellence in your area of expertise
• Explain Quantis solutions credibly and clearly
• Identify sustainability issues across complex problems rigorously
• Communicate complex issues and business value opportunities clearly
• Review proposals reliably
• Identify additional sales opportunities with active clients
• Mentor Sustainability Specialists
• Suggest process or system improvements for project effectiveness
• Enable successful project delivery at all stages
