Job Description: Quality Control Intern at Christian Dior Parfums

Are you seeking a 24-month apprenticeship as part of your Bac +5 engineering school program, specializing in General Engineering with a focus on Quality Management?

Within the quality control service, you will work in the quality control laboratory for packaging articles (Perfumes, Emulsions, Makeup), collaborating closely with production units and a team of about twenty colleagues.

Under the guidance of the sector manager and in interaction with quality operations and product design approval teams, you will actively contribute to the continuous improvement strategy of the service, aiming to deploy quality control standards for packaging articles in accordance with production and marketing requirements.

The main goal of your internship is to establish best practices for various control processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the quality control laboratory.

In this context, you will:

  1. Conduct a critical analysis of existing processes by collecting data from multiple stakeholders to identify issues and improvement levers.
  2. Analyze the current quality control strategy (control ranges, characteristics, samples, etc.) and propose improvement axes using tools like 5S, 3M, Six Sigma.
  3. Develop an action plan for analysis standards considering our quality/packaging specifics and production constraints.
  4. Propose, monitor, and analyze performance indicators (KPIs, scorecards) to evaluate your actions' effectiveness.
  5. Share your progress with relevant stakeholders.
  6. Raise awareness among teams about the implemented changes to ensure sustainability.
  7. Support the evolution of your solutions within the documentation and IT systems.

Prerequisites:

  • Enrolled in a Bac +5 engineering school with a focus on Quality Management.
  • First experience in continuous improvement through an internship or apprenticeship, with skills in Lean Manufacturing.
  • Results-oriented, capable of performance management based on reliable data.
  • Proactive, curious, and able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Reactive and adaptable.
  • Strong affinity for analytical tools (Power BI, Excel) and ISO standards.
