As a key partner in the operations of our customers, our challenge is to provide them the best solution combining hybrid connectivity and digital services, protecting them from any interruption and allowing them to focus on their core business in complete peace of mind.

In order to continue to develop our cyber security portfolio, we are looking for a passionate Senior Business Developer who combines organisational skills and technical drive.

Reporting to the Enterprise Technology & Innovation Director, the Business Developer is in charge of leading and managing the development of all bids and proposals (across EEG segments) in accordance with the bid process, including the budgeting and forecasting of bid resources, the development of bid support resources and the coordination of these activities. His role typically involves supporting the efforts of the business development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

This may include conducting market research, identifying potential leads, building relationships with clients, and assisting in the creation of sales and marketing materials. They may also help in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators and forecasting future sales.

The Business Developer is responsible for:

  • Researching and analysing market trends and competitors
  • Identifying potential business and technology partners, customers, and opportunities
  • Identifying, developing, and growing new long-term sales channels
  • Managing leads and relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and comparison websites
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue
  • Negotiating and closing deals
  • Coordinating with Ops, Risk, Finance to onboard prospects
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Working with CEO, Head of Business Development, and others to drive sales
  • Reinvigorating and bringing benefit of these relations
  • Working on product positioning and strategy to improve sales
  • Collaborating with other teams, such as marketing and sales, to develop and execute business plans
  • Working with Marcom to be visible, impose the Enterprise identity into the market, show / events attendance, support to sales organization, and staying up to date with industry trends and market changes

Profile Education / Qualification:

We are searching for a candidate with the following key skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences, informatics, or related field
  • Proven experience in Business Development
  • Sound judgment, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships
  • Effectively uses emotional information to manage up and down
  • Communication skills as well as the ability to recognize and adapt to people and audiences
  • Communicates concisely and effectively
  • Capable of building rapport with faculty and earning their trust
  • Education and experience in the engineering and delivery of telecommunication services via satellite, radio, and fibre, and of Information Technology
