The Attribution & Applications (A&A) team ingests and enriches attribution data, a key component of Liftoff’s ML datasets and reporting systems. The team is responsible for keeping attribution systems current with industry privacy updates and creating data applications that help control traffic quality and manage campaigns.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and have end-to-end ownership of Liftoff's attribution systems, including data processing pipelines and high-performance services.
2. Develop a deep knowledge of the data collected by Liftoff to influence ML and data-driven applications.
3. Partner with the product team to plan short- and long-term strategies.
4. Contribute to an “engineering excellence” culture through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code reviews.
5. Leverage expertise in Go, SQL, or other technologies to empower and mentor the engineering team, maximizing team velocity.
6. Join a nimble, exemplary, and skilled engineering team.

Requirements:

• Very solid coding ability.
• Strong core CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system architecture).
• High standards for quality and perfection, balanced with the ability to ship when necessary.
• Ability to set ego aside to find the best solution, regardless of source.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to get things done.
• Excited to work on large-scale distributed systems.
• Interested in building and honing data science skills.
• B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience or M.S. with 3+ years.
• A healthy sense of fun!

Locations:

This role is eligible for full-time remote work in the US and Canada, in states including CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, and WA.

Travel Expectations:

Employees are expected to attend in-person team gatherings at least once per quarter, including project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events.

Compensation:

Liftoff offers a comprehensive package including salary, equity, and health benefits, varying by location and experience. Salary ranges are:

• SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $155,000 - $195,000
• Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $140,000 - $180,000
• Other approved states: $135,000 - $170,000
