Job Description:

Our Client, a market leader in fluids for the automotive, industrial, and aerospace sectors (wheel valves, injection, air conditioning, pressure regulators, etc.), operates at the Pontarlier site (70 million euros turnover - 400 employees). The site produces nearly 200 million parts annually, delivered to 80 countries. Renowned for their strong culture of innovation, they aim to strengthen their teams to support growth and diversification by providing innovative solutions for sustainable mobility and decarbonization of industrial systems.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will develop sales in the field of valves for thermal management of electric vehicles, defining appropriate sales growth strategies. Collaboration with R&D and Innovation departments is essential.

Main responsibilities

  1. Develop the sales strategy in consultation with the Sales Director.
  2. Understand the market: players, expectations, competitors, and trends.
  3. Conduct market studies for new range launches.
  4. Identify differentiating factors and prepare sales pitches.
  5. Prospect actively to identify market needs and promote products.
  6. Build a network in this area.
  7. Gather customer needs to adapt current ranges.
  8. Forecast short- and medium-term market requirements.
  9. Respond to tenders and establish competitive prices.
  10. Negotiate contracts.
  11. Communicate effectively with R&D, Innovation, Production, Logistics, etc.
  12. Work mainly in France, Eastern and Western Europe, and England with regular travel within Europe.

YOUR PROFILE

  1. Education: 5-year degree from a business or technical school.
  2. Languages: Proficient in technical English; German skills are a plus. French is appreciated but not mandatory.
  3. Experience: Minimum 5 years in automotive air conditioning or related systems, with initial experience in a similar role. Significant experience in automotive cooling systems or batteries is preferred.
  4. Other qualities: Technical curiosity, rigor, dynamism, autonomy. An established industry network is advantageous.

SALARY AND STATUS

  1. Contract: Permanent, executive status (Statut Cadre).
  2. Gross Salary: €80,000 to €90,000 annually, paid over 13 months, depending on experience.
  3. Bonus: 15% on target.
  4. Additional benefits: Health insurance, provident fund, holiday bonus, vouchers, remote work with travel to head office.
