Expected Salary: $65,514 to $98,271

In this role, you will:

  • Support project initiation, execution, and closeout processes
  • Provide project cost reporting and monitoring, including supporting project teams in multiple locations across Canada
  • Provide inputs to customer reporting deliverables, as needed
  • Facilitate queries with regards to ERP entries and invoice backups, ensuring costs are recorded accordingly to WBS or budgets
  • Provide financial inputs to Contract Status Review (CSR)
  • Upkeep technical accounting papers (IFRS15)
  • Provide support to Finance leads regarding financial achievement
  • Provide accruals and support for accruals to Finance
  • Provide Audit support as needed
  • Receive invoices/return credit notes in the ERP against PO
  • Support customer invoicing
  • Perform invoice reconciliations
  • Support forecasting activities
  • Maintain IFS project structure to support efficient reporting
  • Lead/support improvement projects as required
  • Support tendering activities as needed

The ideal candidate brings:

  • You hold a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA designation an asset.
  • You have fluency in both English and French.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a project accounting or a financial role.
  • Experience in price modelling.
  • You have an understanding of cost control and project management processes.
  • You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (experience utilizing IFS is an asset).
  • You are able to plan, prioritise and deliver to firm deadlines.
  • You are able to create and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner.
  • You are eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearances.
