The Corporate customer segment contributes significantly to American Express's growth and revenue, operating in a highly regulated environment concerning compliance. Ensuring these customers have excellent experiences is a priority. Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Servicing Network for France, the Trainer & Compliance Specialist will play a key role in our market, supporting our divisions (PA Servicing, ACT, and Unident) that serve customers via voice, case servicing, and emails.

How will you make an impact in this role?

This role provides an opportunity for strategic thinking, collaboration, and engagement with leaders and colleagues at all levels. The successful candidate will be a key member of the CMS Europe Leadership Team.

Within CSN France, our team supports Corporate Client Program Administrators, aiding internal ICS/GCS Business development teams.

The role involves understanding team needs, designing engaging training programs in French that prepare teams for success, and equipping them to deliver exceptional customer service. A strong focus on compliance is essential; the trainer will ensure all compliance rules are current and understood, safeguarding the company and clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and maintain effective training materials in French that provide top-tier learning experiences for new and existing colleagues.
  2. Identify opportunities to enhance the learning experience through monitoring, research, and resource utilization.
  3. Handle extensive translation work (French and English), including project documentation, decks, articles, processes, and communications.
  4. Partner with internal teams (e.g., CMSI/GLKN) for project implementation, adaptations, and training needs specific to the French market.
  5. Collaborate with Compliance Analysts, MCO, RBST testing teams to incorporate new requirements into training and provide bespoke training as needed to meet regulatory standards, supporting RBST and PBST success.
  6. Engage with colleagues and team leaders regularly to share best practices, address pain points, and close skill gaps.
  7. Assess training effectiveness by evaluating learning outcomes and knowledge transfer, continuously improving solutions and identifying future needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in training delivery, facilitation, and design is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various training methodologies: face-to-face, virtual classrooms, e-learning, web-based.
  • Ability to coach individuals and maximize potential using Customer First Principles.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational levels.
  • Highly motivated, accountable, and efficient with multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills, with an understanding of customer needs.
  • Organizational agility to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Leadership qualities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Interest in compliance topics.
  • Passion for colleague learning, development, and customer service.
  • Fluent in French and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Corporate Cards and Small Business Servicing, including Value Generation.
  • Knowledge of CSN products and processes such as Clic, GSP-C, Cicare, Greg, Mercury, Speechminer, EWFM.
