Channel Partner Account Manager (6-months contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Partner Account Manager to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with both current and prospective channel partners around the globe, with a primary focus on the Tokyo area.

As the primary liaison for our partners in this region, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth for Unity’s AR business through our global channel partner network. You’ll work closely with resellers to set clear business objectives, implement strategies, and monitor performance metrics such as sales pipeline depth and revenue outcomes. Additionally, you will also take ownership of onboarding and enabling new resellers, empowering them to achieve success and contribute to the broader goals of the organization.

This position offers the unique opportunity to manage channel relationships end-to-end, foster excellence in partner account management, and directly influence the acceleration of revenue growth for Unity. To excel in this role, you'll need exceptional planning abilities, a passion for sales excellence, and the drive to make a significant impact as part of a high-visibility, fast-paced, and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as a key point of contact for assigned partners, marshaling resources to drive them to success
  • Coordinate with regional business development leads to drive the success of growth strategies
  • Conduct annual business planning with assigned partners, holding them accountable for KPIs throughout the calendar year
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies with partners and guide partner participation in enablement and marketing activities
  • Assist partners with creating value-added tools, integrations, and training around Unity’s products and services

What we're looking for

  • Experience and understanding of Software as a Service business
  • Significant experience in managing channel partners for a SaaS company, and building growth plans with partners
  • Experience in key account management, with the ability to interface with executives and sales teams
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota
  • High proficiency in English and Japanese in both written and spoken communication

  • Strong understanding of potential applications for real-time 3D technology in various industries
  • Deep understanding of Japan markets and culture
