Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and qualified corporate lawyer under French law to join our team (Purchasing legal team).

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience, preferably in the legal department of multinational companies or in international law firms.
• Strong focus on procurement, supply chain, related contracts, and litigation.
• Experience in consumer law and ICT is a plus.
• Qualified French Attorney at Law.
• Knowledge of automotive industry is advantageous.
• Languages: French (native), fluent in English; German and/or Italian are a plus.

Responsibilities

1. Drafting and negotiating cross-border contracts/transactions with suppliers, focusing on automotive components/products supply, ensuring intellectual property rights, and product quality and safety are protected.
2. Handling negotiations related to purchases, service contracts, dispute settlements, logistics, and transports.
3. Providing legal opinions and advice on contract law, focusing on French laws and EU Directives.
4. Managing French litigations with suppliers regarding breach of contract, safety, and quality issues.

Additional Requirements

Experience working in an international corporate environment is preferred.
