Description du poste

Please note this role can be based anywhere in France with travel to the Paris office when required.

Rewards & Benefits

We all know that great work deserves great compensation. But rewarding deserving professionals is becoming increasingly complex. The workforce is more demanding, and there is a focus on transparency, not just at the executive level but also at the workforce level. New jobs with no pay precedent are emerging all the time. Flatter structures and contingent workforces mean career paths are no longer clear. We understand the differing dynamics of compensation markets worldwide and across sectors. We stay current with trends, create engaging employee value propositions, and develop strategies to accelerate sales. We design flexible and competitive compensation strategies that align employees and senior executives with business objectives. Additionally, we develop thoughtful employee engagement programs that attract and retain a diverse workforce, reinforcing company culture and goals.

Position Summary & Key Responsibilities

Associate Principals work on project teams alongside experienced practitioners and sales colleagues to deliver rewards solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. This role is the core delivery level for consultants who have developed an understanding of and experience with standard tools applied to defined problems, or for more experienced colleagues. Individuals typically lead a team or work as part of a team supporting a client, managing their own contributions to ensure fit. They receive general direction, with work reviewed at project completion.

Primary Responsibilities

Within French or international project teams, leveraging other Korn Ferry solutions as needed, you will assist companies of various sectors—from start-ups to multinationals—in transformation or at key development moments. Joining the Total Rewards Advisory team, you will work on:

  • Reward audits and strategy & program design for all employees and specific areas such as Executive Pay & Governance and Sales Compensation
  • Classification and job grading projects using the Hay job evaluation methodology, supported by Korn Ferry’s digital tools
  • Client projects in Rewards as a consultant, handling operative, conceptual, and strategic questions
  • Development, creation, and implementation of customized solutions and analyses
  • Creating and developing state-of-the-art presentations to visualize results and solutions
  • Collaborating with partners to support offer creation and solution design

May serve as the lead consultant or account manager for mid-sized clients, managing client expectations and satisfaction. You may interact with client executives during projects and support senior colleagues on larger, more complex projects, potentially leading some client-facing aspects in your area of expertise.

Education, Experience & Other Qualifications
  • Relevant higher degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s), ideally in HR, Business Administration, Business Engineering, Law, Mathematics, or similar
  • Over 8 years of relevant work experience in consulting or industry related to Reward, C&B, Mobility, HR, with knowledge of reward system design and Performance Management
  • Fluent in French and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data tools
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical skills, and team orientation
  • Client-focused with a confident, positive attitude and high engagement
  • Team player with results and solution-oriented mindset, capable of managing complex situations
