Job Title: Facade Consultant

Join our Building Envelope Division as a Facade Consultant, working with a team of technical experts committed to excellence and innovation. The ideal candidate values commitment, contribution, development, and communication.

Responsibilities:

1. Undertake facade design, detailing, and analysis; participate in testing, fabrication, and construction administration.
2. Advise architects and clients on building enclosure performance, constructability, and durability.
3. Conduct or oversee field reviews and progress inspections on designated projects.
4. Document and maintain comprehensive reports on project activities, from initial proposal to completion.
5. Ensure familiarity with local building codes.
6. Advise management on project performance, key issues, scheduling, effort, and estimates for completion.
7. Communicate effectively and build relationships with clients and management teams.
8. Produce detailed drawings using hand sketching and CAD (2D and 3D) software.
9. Support internal teams to meet client needs and project timelines.
10. Break down technical requirements and assist in managing project budgets.
11. Provide manpower updates and resource planning.
12. Occasionally present white papers or case studies to technical teams.
13. Manage staff or team members, fostering training and mentoring.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building envelope/enclosure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer preferred.
• Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of architectural design principles and local laws/codes.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Inspection certificates are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document writing programs.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and solve problems.
• Detail-oriented with a strategic perspective.
