SCOPE

We are hiring a senior sourcing buyer for packaging, responsible for a direct raw material spend of around €60+ million, leading the corrugated board categories.

As part of the France Procurement team, you will collaborate across Lactalis's various business divisions.

Reporting directly to the France Purchasing Director, this highly dynamic and visible role involves leading strategic projects to optimize quality, service, costs, innovation, and cash performance.

Your MISSION & CHALLENGES:

As a senior sourcing buyer, you will:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and lead category transformation projects.
• Gain expertise in market analysis, spend analysis, internal needs, TCO, cost-in-use, and cost models.
• Ensure CSR objectives are met by managing packaging development projects in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and factories.
• Lead a network of 12 local buyers.
• Manage supplier selection, development, negotiations, and performance evaluations.
• Identify and develop supplier capabilities for competitive advantages.
• Analyze supply risks and prioritize packaging security.
• Manage the purchasing budget, risks, and opportunities to support Lactalis’s growth.

This role involves frequent international travel (approximately 20%).

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US?

• Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, commodities, or industrial expertise in an international setting.
