Job Description

Join a dynamic company specializing in high-value-added services and actively contribute to its growth in Europe! As part of the launch of a new service offering, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager (m/f).

Your main mission will be to increase revenue by identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with key sector players (pharma, biotech, medtech, etc.).

Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Prospect new clients across Europe, initiate contact, qualify leads, understand their scientific and technical needs, present company services, develop tailored proposals, negotiate offers, close contracts, and participate in trade shows and professional events to enhance visibility.
  2. Market Monitoring & Strategy: Analyze market potential, identify trends and opportunities, monitor competitors and customer needs, contribute to evolving the service offering, and provide regular sales activity reports.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical experts and internal teams to ensure project feasibility, support sales teams in preparing quotes, and relay outside opportunities.
  4. Client Relations: Maintain trust-based relationships with clients throughout project execution, anticipate future needs, and provide post-project follow-up.
Profile
Qualifications & Experience
  • Scientific degree (Master or PhD) in biotechnology, pharmacy, biology, or life sciences.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development within areas such as central lab, testing, CRO, preclinical, clinical development, CMC, toxicology, medical devices, regulatory affairs, etc.
  • International or multicultural experience is appreciated.
Languages

Fluent English is essential for regular communication with international clients.
