Job Description

Safran SEATS is a global leader in designing aircraft seats for crew and passengers, partnering with major airlines and aircraft manufacturers.

Within the IT department of Safran Seats, you will actively contribute to building and maintaining Data & BI applications under the guidance of the IT department.

You will work closely with project managers and IS teams worldwide.

Depending on ongoing projects and your skills, you may be involved in project management, BI development, or data analysis.

Under the supervision of the BI Manager, you will join as a Junior Data Analyst. Your main tool will be Microsoft Power BI, but you will also explore tools like Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT, and BI platforms.

Occasionally, you may assist with general maintenance of historical tools.

Your responsibilities include translating business needs into technical solutions, proposing suitable BI solutions, contributing to the Data & BI architecture, providing first-level support, and documenting functional and technical aspects of projects.

We encourage proactive suggestions and innovative ideas for implementing new solutions.

Staying updated on Data & BI tools available in the market will also be part of your role.

Job Requirements

Our site is ideally located in Plaisir (78), near Paris and just 20 minutes from Versailles.

We are looking for students pursuing a Master in Computer Science, Data, or Management/Gestion, seeking solid experience in IT.

Basic knowledge of databases, BI principles, SQL or Python, and Agile project management is desirable but not mandatory.

A first experience or strong interest in Power BI, and familiarity with business data such as Finance, Purchasing/Sales, Logistics, or Production, would be advantageous. Fluency in English is essential.

This contract lasts from 12 to 36 months.
