Job Missions
Reporting directly to the Country Manager France, the Specialties Technical Sales Manager promotes and sells Adisseo Specialties products in France. In collaboration with the Country and Category Managers, the STSM proposes tailored solutions, combining products and services, and demonstrating value to key customers. The role primarily involves closing deals with feed and premix companies.
Responsibilities
- Master the Adisseo portfolio of products and services related to Specialties.
- Identify customer needs, potential, objectives, and problems to propose appropriate solutions.
- Prioritize Specialty product development within the assigned territory, based on customer and prospect analysis.
- Understand the decision-making processes of key accounts.
- Promote the nutritional features and benefits of products to decision-makers.
- Develop strong customer relationships through visits, contacts, and events.
- Manage marketing activities for Specialties products in collaboration with the Marketing department.
- Coordinate with Regional Category Managers on pricing, volumes, and forecasts.
- Analyze market trends, opportunities, threats, and competition, and report relevant information.
- Contribute to business development with Global Key Accounts following strategic priorities.
- Monitor local technical trials as per Technical Advisers' instructions.
- Ensure successful product launches by planning and executing local tactics.
- Maximize CRM system use (ACE) for reporting activities and customer information.
Qualifications
- Sales-driven mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously while being a loyal team player.
- Excellent listening skills to identify customer needs.
- Strong background as an animal nutritionist, especially in monogastrics.
- Feed formulation experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Confidence in delivering technical presentations.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Fluent in French and English (speaking and writing).
- Willingness to spend 80% of time in the field.
Education
- Master’s degree in agriculture, nutrition, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in the animal feed industry.
