As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment. What does the role involve?

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design and implement tests, debug issues, define corrective actions, review system requirements, and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. You will collaborate closely with developers and product owners to identify gaps in business logic and ensure the software delivers value to customers. Your responsibilities include creating detailed test plans and cases, developing manual and automated tests for regression and new functionality, executing tests, and monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

The Digital Platform team, based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and Plano, Texas, USA, comprises over 160 members across more than 16 scrum teams, working with cutting-edge technologies to craft a unique user experience for Hilti’s products and services. Key technologies include GraphQL, SAP Hybris, and AWS cloud. We have a best-in-class automation test framework developed using Java, TestNG, Cucumber, Rest Assured, and Gatling.

What you need is :

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with BDD test design and writing test cases with Gherkin syntax.
• Experience with automation testing of UI and API using Selenium, Postman, and Rest Assured.
• Experience with Atlassian tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo.
• Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab.
• Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming, particularly Java.
• Ability to review requirements, specifications, and technical documents, providing feedback, and planning testing tasks.
• Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases.
• Experience in bug tracking and documentation.
• Knowledge of AWS and SAP is a plus.
• Quick learner of new technologies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
