Angers Development Center

Located within the Lighting / Signaling product group, the Angers site hosts the Development Center, which designs and develops innovative automotive lighting systems (headlamps and taillights) for the European Market, along with a headlamp production plant.

Position: Technical Lighting Product Engineer (M/F)

Responsible for designing vehicle headlights and taillights, managing deadlines, budgets, and dedicated resources within specific projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Interface: Ensure conformity of definitions with Product, Process, and Methodology standards.
2. Resource Management: Manage electronic, mechanical, and optical resources for projects, including planning and development monitoring.
3. Design Objectives: Guarantee adherence to cost, deadline, and quality objectives at the design level.
4. Documentation: Manage technical documents such as justifications and Design Reviews.
5. Development Process: Ensure product development follows the ASPICE standard.
6. Customer Interaction: Present technical solutions and project progress to customers.
7. Customer Platform Work: Work directly on customer requests on their platform.
8. Supplier Management: Manage integrated suppliers for component development.
9. Prototype Follow-up: Participate in prototype tool realization follow-up.
10. Validation: Oversee product validation until production start.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development and R&D project management.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders.
• Recognized for anticipation, rigor, and discernment.
• Knowledge of mechanics, optics, and plastics processing is an asset.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
