Qualifications

  • Diplôme de Master en fiscalité avec une culture financière.
  • 6-10 ans d'expérience en tant qu'avocat fiscaliste ou manager fiscal international.

In a context of reinforced national and international tax regulations, we are recruiting a Group Tax Manager (H/F) in the Tax team near Lille.

Acting as a tax expert and a business partner, the Group Tax Manager delivers a full range of tax services around several pillars: strategy and policy; compliance; projects; value creation and preservation; operating model.

Your main accountabilities will be:

- Tax compliance & tax advice :

  1. Provide tax advice and tax support to a range of French and foreign legal entities.
  2. Design/Maintain tax processes to ensure that all compliance obligations are met and appropriate documentation is maintained, including retention of documentation supporting tax positions under examination by tax authorities.
  3. Coordinate and supervise the process of preparing and providing information to external tax service provider, and reviewing and approving tax returns, with respect to the preparation of tax filings; Assist the review and approval of tax returns (direct and indirect) for complex countries.
  4. Interact with Controllers, Third-Party Accounting service provider on tax/accounting data, tax returns, and more generally on any topic related to tax compliance and risk management, including for taxes managed by other departments.
  5. Manage the relationship with the external tax service provider (contract follow-up, including billing validation and terms negotiation, KPIs monitoring, continuous improvement, retex and advice for any scope extension / reduction / change).
  6. Stay up to date with new tax legislations and communicate on high-stake legislative changes.
  7. Contribute to analysis and decisions related to the design of the tax compliance function.

- Tax audits :

  1. Manage/Assist for tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.

- M&A and projects :

  1. Manage the tax consequences/aspects of the M&A and projects.

- Tax strategy and policy:

  1. Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Group's tax and transfer price strategy and policy and the management of the tax burden.

What we will love about you:

  1. Master degree in Tax, with Finance culture. Finance diploma (Business school, accounting diploma) with Tax specialization.
  2. 6-10 years of experience as a Tax Lawyer or International Tax Manager.
  3. Experience within a Tax Compliance Department of a Tax/Accounting firm a plus.
  4. Ability to understand and manage tax topics in multiple countries, with the assistance of external service providers.
  5. Ability to coordinate global agreement with external service providers.
  6. Fluent in English.
