What you’ll do

We are looking for experienced Frontend Software Engineers with a strong background in building high-performance, user-friendly web applications. As a Frontend Software Engineer, your core responsibility will be to work on the dashboard used by our customers to manage their bank accounts, payments, and reconciliations.

You will also:

1. Develop features and improvements for our web application, focusing on delivering seamless user experiences using ReactJS and TypeScript.
2. Collaborate with Product Managers and Backend Software Engineers to develop responsive, accessible, and user-centric designs.
3. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
4. Solve architectural challenges to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software.
5. Contribute to the team’s technical roadmap by identifying areas for improvement and defining solutions to manage technical debt effectively.

What you’ll bring

1. Strong experience with ReactJS and TypeScript, with a focus on component-driven software development.
2. Mastery of modern frontend software development tools and practices (e.g., Webpack or Vite, Vitest or Jest, ESLint).
3. Expertise in crafting responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces.
4. Strong grasp of data flow patterns (e.g., React Query, Redux, Recoil) and best practices for handling complex data flows.
5. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills with an emphasis on working cross-functionally with product and design teams.

Nice to have:

1. Familiarity with backend integration patterns, including RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
2. Understanding of design systems and UI libraries (e.g., Chakra UI, Material-UI, TailwindCSS).
3. Previous exposure to working with high-volume SaaS platforms.
4. DevOps or cloud hosting experience, such as deploying frontend applications on AWS or using CI/CD pipelines.
5. Familiarity with analytics tools, user behavior tracking, and A/B testing.
6. Some knowledge of UX principles and the ability to identify and avoid common bad UX/UI design practices.
