In our DXC Analytics team, we are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer. Typical areas where you will work include Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, and Artificial Intelligence.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Designing and implementing batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines for Azure Data Lake or similar cloud-based (e.g., AWS) data warehouse or data lake solutions.
2. Implementing data quality checks.
3. Implementing data lineage and reconciliation mechanisms, including monitoring dashboards and alerts.
4. Implementing data cataloging, archiving, and disaster recovery.
5. Collaborating with data source and data consumption teams to align on data structures and schemas.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Familiarity with modern, cloud-based data/BI technologies (data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, Spark).
2. Experience with implementing data ingestion pipelines / ETLs / ELTs.
3. General knowledge of Azure or comparable platform and ecosystem—Storage Account, CosmosDB (SQL & Gremlin API), Event Hub, App Services, OpenAI.
4. Experience with at least 3 of the following Azure data technologies or similar technologies for competitive cloud platforms: Azure Data Factory / Synapse.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in Informatics, Business Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
2. 5 or more years of field experience in a similar role.

Language Skills:

Fluency in French and English.
