Job Description

You are joining the Portfolio Management Indexing Solutions team, currently composed of five finance professionals, as a Junior Portfolio Manager. The main tasks of the team are: (i) daily management of funds (mainly ETFs) and mandates, including all executions; (ii) structuring of investment products; and (iii) participation in the creation of quantitative investment strategies.

Your daily tasks are:

  1. Manage funds and mandates daily, executing transactions such as shares, bonds, currencies, etc., and adjusting portfolios according to strategy rebalancing or subscription/redemption orders; cover foreign exchange risk; monitor and process OST affecting portfolios and indices.
  2. Ensure smooth operations through continuous interaction with the Middle Office team.
  3. Maintain ongoing communication with external operational contacts: Authorized Participants, brokers, swap counterparties.
  4. Monitor fund exposures and risk indicators daily through first-level controls.
  5. Participate in operational implementation of new funds/mandates and improve trading and portfolio management tools and processes.
  6. Contribute to general fund management topics.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Higher education and initial experience in trading/portfolio management, preferably in bond management; additional ETF industry knowledge and programming skills are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management processes and the operational chain from order generation to settlement.
  • Programming skills, ideally in Python.

You should possess:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, good listening abilities, motivation, curiosity, and strong team spirit.
  • English proficiency at C1 level.
