Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal advice regarding Wealth Management activities, focusing on civil, commercial, corporate, and consumer law.
  2. Advise BIL Group on duties and responsibilities related to credit structuring, implementation, and MIFID regulatory aspects.
  3. Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including credit agreements, security packages, and investment services documentation.
  4. Contribute to group projects by providing legal recommendations.
  5. Participate in legal and regulatory developments within BIL, including launching new products in coordination with other departments.
  6. Engage with external working groups (e.g., ABBL).
  7. Coordinate outside counsel as needed.
  8. Support the Head of Legal and team on various legal matters.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in law (BAC+5), ideally CCDL qualified.
  • Qualified lawyer within the European Union.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a large financial institution or law firm in Luxembourg.
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg's banking, legal, and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Team player, flexible, and polyvalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated.
