Qualifications

  • Expérience en gestion de comptes, ventes ou succès client, de préférence dans le domaine sportif.
  • Compréhension des opérations des clubs de football ou capacité d'apprentissage rapide.
  • Fluent en français et anglais; d'autres langues de l'UE sont un plus.

TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS Marketplace on a mission to change the football transfer market for the better. We empower football clubs, agents, and players to succeed by providing real-time market intelligence and access to a global network of decision-makers.

Our platform is market-leading and essential for key stakeholders in football’s transfer market. Used by over 800 clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool, and PSG, 550+ agencies, and 8,000 professional players, TransferRoom has facilitated over 6,500 transfers since 2017.

Brief intro to the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Account Manager to oversee the satisfaction and success of agents using our platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, a deep understanding of the football industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building strong client relationships.

The Account Manager will ensure optimal platform usage, drive value for clients, and support their long-term success, upselling, and renewal efforts. This role focuses on working with football agencies in France, a key market for TransferRoom.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Customer onboarding & adoption: Ensure successful onboarding of new clients, oversee ongoing usage and satisfaction, and provide training on platform features.
  2. Customer renewals & upselling: Renew and upsell clients by demonstrating value and addressing their needs.
  3. Relationship management: Develop strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders, act as the primary contact for escalations, and resolve issues promptly.
  4. Product expertise: Master our platform's features, promote its benefits, and encourage adoption of new functionalities.
  5. Team collaboration: Work with Sales, Strategy, and Product teams to advocate for customer needs and feedback.

Who you are:

  • Experience in Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success, preferably in sports.
  • Understanding of football club operations or ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust.
  • Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.
  • Fluent in French and English; additional EU languages like German, Spanish, or Portuguese are a plus.
