Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Path to CEO
The Innovation

Lamina Therapeutics is at the forefront of biomedical innovation, revolutionizing bone and cartilage regeneration. Their flagship innovation, Lamina.One, is a fully synthetic, animal-free biomimetic solution that stimulates bone regeneration and cartilage repair. Currently in Phase I clinical trials, it aims to progress to Phase II in 2026.

The COO Role

Lamina Therapeutics seeks a strategic COO to drive operations and secure funding, serving as a stepping stone to the CEO position based on performance and alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans, define milestones, market positioning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  2. Investor Relations: Secure new investors, lead fundraising efforts, prepare pitch decks, and manage due diligence.
  3. Strategic Partnerships: Forge alliances with research institutions, healthcare providers, and industry partners.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct research to inform decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  5. Regulatory Navigation: Collaborate with regulatory bodies, ensure compliance, and develop SOPs for safety and efficacy.
  6. Manufacturing and Quality: Scale manufacturing, select CDMOs, and manage supply chain logistics and technology transfer.
Qualifications & Requirements
  1. 5+ years in biotech, medtech, or pharma business development; manufacturing experience is a plus.
  2. Proven fundraising success in biotech ventures.
  3. Strong strategic vision and ability to develop growth-driving strategies.
  4. Fluent in French and English.
  5. Reside in or willing to travel to Strasbourg, France.
  6. Advanced degree in business, sciences, or related fields preferred.
  7. Leadership skills to manage teams and scale operations.
  8. Established industry connections are a plus.
