We're seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to:
  • Provide onsite IT support for our pharmaceutical client in Belgium.
  • Be the frontline technical expert, ensuring seamless operations in a regulated environment.
  • Collaborate with global teams.
Responsibilities:
  1. Provide L1 / L2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues (Windows 10 / 11, macOS, Office 365, VPN, etc.).
  2. Troubleshoot Active Directory issues (replication errors, authentication failures, GPO misconfigurations).
  3. Diagnose and repair Windows BSOD errors by analyzing stop codes, memory dumps, and driver conflicts.
  4. Manage roaming & local user profiles, resolving corruption issues and optimizing logon times.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot high CPU / memory usage using tools like Task Manager, Performance Monitor, and Event Viewer.
  6. Resolve application failures (DLL conflicts, missing dependencies, permission issues).
  7. Support BitLocker encryption and recovery scenarios, including BIOS-related configurations.
  8. Configure and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in multi-domain environments.
  9. Document solutions in ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system and maintain IT asset records.
  10. Assist with network troubleshooting (IP vs. MAC addressing, DNS / DHCP issues, LAN / Wi-Fi connectivity).
  11. Collaborate with global IT teams to escalate complex issues when necessary.
Required Skills:
  • Languages: Fluent in French (for local support) and English (for international communication).
  • Experience: 2+ years in desktop support, preferably in pharma or regulated industries.
  • Technical Expertise: Active Directory, Windows OS, Networking, Tools like ServiceNow, BitLocker, remote support software.
Preferred Skills:
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft MTA, ITIL).
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge.
