Description

Within the Wireless Internet of Things group, Ceva is offering you the opportunity to join our Communication Signal Processing Team.

In this role, you will participate in the research and development of cutting-edge future communication technologies, including: WiFi 7 with MIMO OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and Bluetooth PHY with High Accuracy Distance Measurement (HADM).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Specifying algorithms for transceiver synchronization and demodulation, including AGC, time and frequency synchronization, channel estimation, clock and frequency offset compensation, equalization / MIMO detection, channel decoding, etc.
  • Analyzing algorithm performance through system simulations
  • Defining fixed-point specifications for RTL or DSP implementations
  • Creating bit- and cycle-accurate models
  • Supporting RTL verification, including test plan development, test vector generation, and issue debugging
  • Staying updated with the latest developments in the standards

Requirements

  • PhD or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with knowledge in Signal Processing, or an engineer with 5+ years of experience in algorithm development for Digital Communication
  • Strong background in Signal Processing, Digital Wireless Communications, System Modeling, and Algorithm Design
  • Good knowledge of MIMO, OFDM, WLAN, and/or other wireless radio technologies (highly desired)
  • Experience in fixed-point specification and bit-accurate modeling
  • Proficiency in Matlab
  • Experience in WiFi Signal Processing is an advantage
  • Experience with system definitions is an advantage
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
