Job Description:

Are you interested in being at the center of the design, development, and certification of navigation systems?
Would you like to enhance safety and functionality to add value for Airbus Helicopters and our customers?
Join the Navigation Systems Design Office as a System Design Responsible. We have multiple developments planned and need you now!
You will be part of the team responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of Navigation Systems across all Airbus Helicopters platforms, including flight management systems, inertial and air data systems, and localization systems (e.g., GNSS).
Working Environment:
Located in Marseille-Provence Airport, Marignane, near Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, offering rich cultural, tourist, and water sports activities.

Your Challenges: As a System Design Responsible, you will handle tasks across the product lifecycle, focusing on new air data and inertial systems development, including specification, project management, testing, supplier management, and safety/certification activities. You will work with international teams and multiple stakeholders, requiring technical rigor, communication skills, and project management capabilities.
Your Profile: You need an aeronautical/systems/avionics engineering degree (or equivalent), experience in navigation systems design (>5 years), curiosity, communication skills, decision-making ability, proactive problem-solving, willingness to learn, and proficiency in English and French. Occasional travel is expected. Security clearance or eligibility is required.
