A venture-backed DeFi startup is building infrastructure for tokenized credit default swaps, enabling structured products for funds, market makers, and DAOs.

The team seeks a CTO to lead and execute the protocol's technical strategy, focusing on protocol architecture, engineering leadership, and product development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead protocol design and smart contract development (Solidity, EVM)
• Manage and grow a globally distributed engineering team (EU/Asia time zones)
• Own the technical roadmap, security practices, and integration strategy
• Collaborate with researchers on risk and credit market innovation

Requirements:

• 5+ years in software engineering, 3+ in DeFi/blockchain
• Expert in Solidity, smart contract security, and dApp/web development
• Built and scaled DeFi protocols with >$10M TVL

Bonus:

• Founder mindset or previous founder experience
