Senior Automation Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

A global pharmaceutical client of mine is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to lead and support automation initiatives across its modern manufacturing site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize DCS (Emerson DeltaV), PLC (Siemens, Rockwell), and SCADA (WinCC, FactoryTalk) systems
• Support site-wide automation projects and digitalization efforts
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP5, and validation standards (CSV, IQ / OQ / PQ)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, IT, and maintenance teams
• Provide troubleshooting and technical support to production lines
• Use tools like AVEVA PI for data monitoring and reporting

Your Profile

• Degree in Automation, Controls, or related field
• 5+ years of automation experience in pharma, biotech, or process industries
• Strong hands-on knowledge of DeltaV, Rockwell / Siemens PLCs, SCADA, and PI systems
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments
• Fluent in French, with working English proficiency
