Job Description:

Summary:

We are looking to expand our database of linguists to work on projects for our clients in the Travel & Tourism field.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on translation and proofreading projects specifically for travel and tourism clients. Additional experience in the tourism industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate and proofread various types of documents according to subject matter expertise.
2. Ensure translated documents accurately reflect the original source material.
3. Maintain disciplined operational procedures across multiple client projects.
4. Track project-specific non-conformances and resolutions.
5. Perform quality assurance (QA) steps for projects.
6. Utilize all appropriate reference materials, glossaries, and client-specific guidelines to ensure consistency.
7. Take responsibility for any errors or omissions in projects.

Required Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the target languages: Japanese and French.
• Experience in French to Japanese translation within the Travel & Tourism sector.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of company language proficiency tests.
• Minimum passing grades on relevant foreign language assessments.
