A leading engineering and technology company is seeking an Experienced Technical Safety Engineer in Paris. The role involves ensuring safety in design and implementation for various projects in oil and gas, petrochemical, and energy transition sectors. Within the Safety department, you will integrate into a team of HSE Design engineers focused on one of the Technip Energies projects (oil and gas onshore/offshore, petrochemical, energy transition, mining, pharmacy). You will interface with the HSE Design Team and other disciplines like Process, Piping, Civil, Electrical, and Instrumentation.

Note: Quantitative analyses like consequence analysis, QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA are out of scope, but related activities are part of Risk Quantification.
You are expected to produce high-quality deliverables considering project constraints and may supervise other Safety engineers. You will also participate in training, technical presentations, and R&D development.
Opportunities include roles such as Safety Lead, HSE Design Lead, Expert, or Head of Department.
Chartered Engineer with a background in Chemical, Process, or Safety Engineering, with over six years of safety engineering experience in industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, energy transition, mining, or pharmacy. You should be proactive, autonomous, adaptable, communicative, and fluent in English. Business trips abroad are expected.
