E3D Electrical Designer

Intertek, a global leader in ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) services, is currently seeking an E3D Electrical Designer to join our team for a 6 months contract.

The E3D Electrical Designer will utilize advanced engineering design techniques and tools to support the development and execution of electrical systems for our clients. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design electrical systems using E3D software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical design with other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve design processes and outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Perform calculations and simulations to verify design integrity and performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and practices throughout the design process.

Requirements

• Experience in the installation of electrical equipment;
• Preferred software : AutoCAD 2D / 3D – E3D or PDMS, with a strong preference for E3D.
• Experience in engineering for both high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems;
• Solid understanding of international electrical standards, especially IEC;
• Comprehensive knowledge of technologies and the market for equipment such as panels, transformers, UPS systems, cables, cable trays, mounting accessories, etc.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and French.
