IT Desktop Support (backfill)

French and English
Technical Skills:
- 2 to 5 years' experience providing IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues while ensuring compliance with hardware warranty and security requirements.
- Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other peripherals, as well as desktop applications.
- Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting/moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Skilled in desk-side support and PC break/fix, including basic Windows OS administration.
- Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
- Support for peripherals and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, racks, and data panels under 'Smart Hands' support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using deductive reasoning for systems and networks.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, with clients and management.
- Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks on time.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for Mobile Device Management systems (AirWatch, XenMobile, MobileIron).
- Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM/Landesk/Altiris, Skype for Business, and OneDrive.
