The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring compliance with security requirements. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with clients are essential. This role involves hands-on experience with various IT equipment and software, making it a critical position for maintaining operational efficiency.

Technical Skills:

  1. 2 to 5 years' experience providing IT infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues while ensuring compliance with hardware warranty and security requirements.
  2. Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and other peripherals, as well as desktop applications.
  3. Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts.
  4. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting/moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
  5. Skilled in desk-side support and PC break/fix, including basic Windows OS administration.
  6. Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software.
  7. Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
  8. Support for peripherals and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, racks, and data panels under 'Smart Hands' support.
  9. Strong troubleshooting skills using deductive reasoning for systems and networks.
  10. Good communication skills, both written and oral, with clients and management.
  11. Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks on time.
  12. Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.
  13. Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Remedy.
  14. Basic troubleshooting skills for Mobile Device Management systems (AirWatch, XenMobile, MobileIron).
  15. Basic understanding of VDI, SCCM/Landesk/Altiris, Skype for Business, and OneDrive.

Non-Technical Skills:

  1. Good customer management skills.
  2. Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  3. Ability to interact and work with customers at various levels.
  4. Self-driven and results-oriented.
  5. Passionate about the work.
