Job Description:

You will join a team of 15 dedicated colleagues within the Client’s Scientific Intelligence department, which serves as a centralized hub for external information, tools, and technologies to extract data and insights for users across Client’s worldwide operations, including headquarters and affiliates.

The goal is to provide modern digital solutions, ensuring researchers have seamless access to quality information sources, state-of-the-art technologies, and professional research services to support their needs.

Scientific Intelligence is part of a new area called Digital Research & Intelligence (DRI), established to offer modern scientific intelligence, foster external collaborations, access emerging technologies in digital drug discovery, facilitate idea maturation, and develop educational frameworks to support our digital journey.

Digital & Research Intelligence falls under Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), recently founded to promote digitalization across R&D. DSI is involved in drug development projects spanning from early discovery to pre-clinical stages.

Requirements:

• Experience with creating and maintaining ELT / ETL pipelines on cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with data operations.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes for deployment.
• Experience with CI / CD automation processes.
• Experience working in AWS or Azure environments.
• Knowledge of security practices and usage monitoring, e.g., for EC2 instances and code vulnerabilities.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with vector databases, e.g., Milvus.
