Main responsibilities

• Lead the R&D Accelerator data strategy and design solutions for innovative products, translating high-level business requirements into data models and standards.
• Implement data architecture to meet business needs across research, development, clinical, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance areas.
• Simplify data strategies by delivering reusable services and cost-saving opportunities in line with group policies.
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle solutions, ensuring compliance with enterprise data models.
• Provide leadership in R&D data architecture, participating in peer reviews and governance forums.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies and oversee third-party architecture designs.
• Create and maintain current and target-state data architectures aligned with enterprise principles.
• Collaborate with digital, business, and analytics teams to develop data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulations like GxP, HIPAA, GDPR.
• Align architecture with Agile development and operational strategies.

Key requirements

• Understanding of life sciences/pharma.
• Experience in R&D data architecture and full project lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of data processing systems (OLTP vs. OLAP) and data modeling.
• Experience with data platforms, governance, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work across time zones.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and solution architecture, with preferred knowledge of GxP, HIPAA, GDPR.
