Vos missions au quotidien

The (Senior) Business Controller is responsible for delivering key insights from analysing profitability information and is able to convert these into actionable conclusions which can be shared with senior management.

The core activities include:

1. Analyse, challenge, and propose decisions regarding pricing proposals that exceed local country mandates (approx. 400 per year), ensuring quality standards.
2. Act as a strategic partner to commercial teams for international business proposals and tenders, establishing collaboration with local Pricing Managers.
3. Execute business performance reviews based on financial reports on quotations, orders, contracts, or customer profitability, and discuss these with relevant stakeholders.
4. Evaluate the quality of local pricing committee minutes and challenge portfolio analysis and performance.

Required education and technical abilities include:

• University degree in Economics or Business Administration.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated through experience in controlling, data analytics, or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounting or international financial reporting standards.
• Structured thinking, organizational skills, and excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders without formal authority.

Work experience required:

• Business Controller: 5+ years, with at least 3 in financial services or automotive industry.
• Senior Business Controller: 8+ years, with at least 5 in relevant industries.
• Experience leading multi-national transformation or improvement projects.
• Experience with management methodologies like MBO, LEAN Six Sigma, PDCA.

Language requirements: Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Special remarks: Ability to travel to one of the two Global offices.
