About Us
This role is fully remote; you can be located anywhere in Europe and the UK.
Hi there! Thanks for being here, and let’s get started.
At Cycloid, we aim to promote efficient infrastructure & software delivery alongside digital sobriety. We do this by optimizing platform engineering, alleviating the cognitive load on IT teams, and advocating for Green IT and FinOps practices. Our mission is to enable a future where technology and sustainability can coexist harmoniously, leaving a lasting positive legacy.
Platform teams design, build, and run the platform enabling end-users to visualize and deploy existing and new projects, interact with cutting-edge DevOps and Cloud automation without the need to become an expert, while keeping best practices in place and cloud expenses under control with a minimum carbon footprint.
Cycloid, a sustainable engineering platform, provides a frictionless self-service portal with modules around self-service portal and orchestration, infrastructure and resource management, and FinOps and GreenOps. It can be consumed through the console, in CLI, or in API.
At Cycloid, we’re an open organization, meaning that your voice and point of view will have a true impact on how we work and the decisions we make. So, as you can imagine, we’re looking for someone who is keen on sharing their ideas and opinions. Don’t be shy!
One goal: to make our sustainable platform engineering the leading platform tool in the world.
Sounds like a plan, right?
What Is My Challenge?
We provide a working environment for everyone to contribute in their best way.
As our Product Manager / Owner, you will:
- Participate in the definition, development, execution, and sharing of the product vision and roadmap: define a roadmap and prove its performance, establish a clear and impactful monthly, weekly, and daily roadmap for your squad, and prove its impact on the objective.
- Feed and maintain the GitHub product backlog with business priorities.
- Break down complex problems into requirements and steps that drive product development.
- Create user stories: gather requirements and ensure every voice is heard, organize our users’ feedback, and talk with our customers/leads/Dev/Ops/founders and Sales team to enrich our backlog with their knowledge and needs.
- Follow up solutions from conception to delivery, from insights to user stories to releases, specify and test your features, and ensure they are launched properly.
- Work together with Design and our Ops to define detailed specifications.
- Ensure smooth sprint execution; coordinate with the squad’s designer and dev team to ensure our delivery is smooth and our backlog is always tidy.
- Create a “test and learn” mindset: you test three iterations before you build one, track the features’ metrics, and iterate on those.
- Infuse Agile culture and customer-centricity.
- Ensure our product is competitive in the market and remains current with emerging advertising standards and specs.
- Provide annually, quarterly, monthly, and weekly reports of the evolution, status, and date of release.
