SCOPE

We are hiring a senior sourcing buyer packaging, responsible for a direct raw material spend of around €60+ million. He/she is leading the corrugated board categories.

As a part of the France Procurement team, you will work across Lactalis's different business divisions.

Directly reporting to the France Purchasing Director, this is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your perimeter.

Your MISSION & CHALLENGES :

As a senior sourcing buyer you will:

• Build and execute the sourcing strategies. Lead the transformation projects of the categories
• Gain and build expertise on your categories market analysis, spend analysis, internal needs, TCO, cost-in-use, cost models
• Ensure compliance with CSR objectives by co-managing packaging development projects in close collaboration with the packaging R&D department, the Marketing teams and the Division’s factories.
• Lead a functional network of 12 local buyers
• Accountability for supplier selection & development : maintain and develop relationships with panel suppliers, negotiate agreements, manage their performance with a cross-functional process
• Identify and leverage of supplier capabilities in long-term development processes, bringing major competitive advantages
• Analyze supply risks to define and deploy major priorities for packaging security
• Accountability for the purchasing budget, manage risks and opportunities to the budget to support Lactalis rapid growth

This position requires frequent travels abroad (20% of the time).

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ?

• 5 years' experience minimum in procurement, commodities and/or industrial expertise in an international environment
• Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision.
• Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic
• Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within BUs and suppliers
• Professional sourcing experience or / and education background that provides relevant knowledge within purchasing area
• Someone who is oriented to deliver value in this categorie
• Able to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities
• Positive, humility, adaptation and openess to feedback
• Fluent in french
